Christine Librizzi

Christine G. Librizzi is an independent consultant providing training (CGL Consulting), executive coaching and organizational development services geared to increasing the effectiveness and promoting the growth of public sector leaders and managers.  She provides leadership development training in the areas of strategic thinking and planning, teambuilding, executive coaching, change management, executive communication, conflict management, employee engagement, customer service and current government initiatives.  Ms. Librizzi also conducts Federal acquisition and grants management training worldwide.

Ms. Librizzi is a skilled facilitator, instructor and OD consultant.  She serves as adjunct faculty for the Partnership for Public Service’s Excellence in Government Program, OPM’s Executive Development Seminar and USAID’s COR basic and advanced courses in acquisition management.

Ms. Librizzi spent nineteen years in Federal Service.  Most recently, Ms. Librizzi served as a Program Director at the Office of Personnel Management’s Eastern Management Development Center (EMDC) providing executive and management training to Federal executives.  Ms. Librizzi managed several leadership programs including the Executive Development Seminar.  She also provided customized training, facilitation and conference management services to various Federal agencies.    

Prior to joining OPM, Ms. Librizzi spent eleven years at the Agency for International Development.  She designed and delivered contract management and strategic program management training for USAID missions around the globe.  Ms. Librizzi authored and implemented the Procurement Management Certification Program to comply with a Federal mandate to professionalize the Federal acquisition workforce through training and development.

She started her Federal career as a Contracting Officer with the Department of Navy’s Military Sealift Command working on the overhaul and repair of Navy support ships.

Ms. Librizzi has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and undergraduate degrees in Economics and International Relations and from the American University in Washington, DC.  She is certified in the BarOn EQi, DiSC, and OPM 360 assessment instruments.  She is a member of the Organizational Development Network and has presented at the ODN, AGA and LULAC annual conferences and has been published in the ODN journal.
